Peugeot Vans take home big awards!

Peugeot have bagged a host of awards at the annual What Car? Van and Commercial Vehicle of the Year awards

The Peugeot e-Partner scooped the ‘Best Electric Van Overall’ and ‘Van of the Year’ in the latest What Car? Van and Commercial vehicle of the year awards, Peugeot also received an extra three more awards for ‘Best for Practicality’ for the Partner, Expert and Boxer. 

The Peugeot e-Partner offers a competitive payload of up to 800kg and offers a driving range of up to 171 miles. What Car? Mentioned it was the van’s practicality that was a key factor in the winning criteria. Steve Huntingford, Editor of What Car, said: “Owner drivers and fleets are really going to appreciate the cost savings that operating an e-Partner will have for their business. It’s a class leading small electric van that is practical, great to drive and relaxing to be in.” 

The Peugeot Partner van was jointly awarded first place for Best for Practicality (small van). With an impressive load volume of 4.4m3 and the latest technology to keep drivers safe including a two-stage overload indicator. This equipment will warn drivers when they are 10% of the maximum gross vehicle weight or another alert if they’ve exceeded the vehicle’s limit. 

In the medium sub-category, the Peugeot Expert van took home the Best for Practicality award. The Expert is a multi-award winning vehicle already that features a 6.6m load volume and a 1,446kg payload. 

Last but not least, the Peugeot Boxer van was also awarded Best for Practicality in the large van sub-category. The Boxer is available in various sizes, offering a maximum payload of 1,870kg and a load space ranging from 8.0m3 to 17.0m3. 

Exciting news - all Peugeot vans are also now available as an all electric model.
